Come take a bike ride with the Grenoble Metropolitan Area to explore the region’s new developments, which combine sustainable mobility, social issues, biodiversity, and efforts to combat heat islands.
How can we design a city to address climate change? Grenoble Alpes Métropole offers a 7-kilometer bike ride to explore recent public space redevelopment projects that promote active mobility (walking and cycling) and incorporate urban canopy initiatives (tree planting, soil de-impermeabilization) to enhance user comfort and preserve biodiversity—a key factor in fostering social interaction. A great way to (re)discover Grenoble!

The chosen route is flat, mainly along bike paths, and passes through the following streets: starting from the campus, Rue des Glairons, Avenue du Bataillon Carmagnole Liberté, Avenue Jeanne d'Arc, and the banks of the Isère River.

The ride is open to beginners, and bikes are available to borrow (please request one when registering).
