Road Safety Day

Workshop Campus Life, Staff Life, Student Life
September 24, 2026Grenoble metropolitan area
Crash simulator, reaction test, or Snakes and Ladders? Activities are offered during Road Safety Day to raise awareness of traffic laws and provide information on the dangers of addictive driving behaviors.
Every day, we share public spaces with other road users. The Risk Prevention Department is organizing a risk prevention day to raise awareness among the public (students and staff) about following traffic laws (regardless of mode of transportation), sharing public spaces, and showing respect for all road users (pedestrians, people with mobility impairments, cyclists, drivers, etc.). The goal is also to provide information about the dangers of addictive behaviors and distractions on the road.

Come test your knowledge at the various booths run by different partners throughout the day:
- the crash simulator by the association La Feuille de route prévention
- the bus to raise awareness about blind spots by the MRéso transportation network
- a blood alcohol level course + information on drug and alcohol prevention organized by the student health service
- Bicycle safety by ADTC – alternative modes of transportation
- Review of traffic laws through a board game and a reaction meter to test your reaction time while driving, offered by the Prévention MAIF association
- Testimony from a road accident victim + various information (Road Safety)
- Blood drive organized by the French Blood Establishment (EFS)

Safety equipment (high-visibility vests, reflective belts, front and rear bike lights, wheel reflectors, bike bells, etc.) may also be provided by the Risk Prevention Department.
