Reopening of the Lautaret Garden
The garden will be open for the summer starting Saturday, June 6, 2026, as part of the Ministry of Culture’s “Rendez-vous aux Jardins” event. Will your summer be all about Lautaret, too?

That’s it! Winter is over, spring is gently rearing its head in the Hautes-Alpes, and it snowed again recently—which will make things a bit tricky for the gardeners at the Lautaret Garden as they tackle the first maintenance tasks. But the summer opening is just around the corner, and the blooms will follow one after another all summer long!

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Lautaret Garden will reopen its gates for the Rendez-vous aux jardins festival, whose theme this year is "the view."

There’s plenty to feast your eyes on at the Lautaret Garden! Whether it’s the collection of flowers, the surrounding mountains, or all the scientific activities taking place there! Welcome to this exceptional garden, created in 1899 byUniversité Grenoble Alpes joined by the CNRS in 2005.

Three guided tours daily at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. from June 6 through September 6, without interruption.
You can find many other one-time events throughout the summer in our calendar.
We can't wait to see you again!!!
