With the reform of initial teacher training, which will be implemented from the start of the 2025 academic year, external competitive examinations for teacher recruitment will be open to candidates with a bachelor's degree. Competitive examinations for candidates with a master's degree will continue to be held for two years, to allow master's students to sit them. Depending on the type of exam and the level required, registration for the 2026 exam session will take place in two separate periods.

From September 18 to December 2: register for graduate school entrance exams 

Registration for external competitive examinations for those with five years of higher education, as well as for third competitive examinations, internal competitive examinations, and competitive examinations for the agrégation teaching certification for the 2026 session will take place from Thursday, September 18, at 12:00 p.m. to Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., Paris time.

October 14 to December 2: register for bachelor's degree entrance exams

With the reform of initial teacher training, which will be implemented at the start of the 2025 academic year, competitive examinations for elementary, middle, and high school teachers, as well as for school counselors (CPE), will be open to candidates with a bachelor's degree.
Registration for the 2026 bachelor's degree entrance exams will take place from Tuesday, October 14, at 12:00 p.m. to Tuesday, December 2, at 12:00 p.m., Paris time.
