Whether by bike, on foot, on a scooter, or by car: sharing the road depends heavily on traffic lights. Within the Grenoble Metropolitan Area, traffic lights are controlled from a single location: the traffic control center. This large room is equipped with 24 screens that monitor the proper operation of more than 500 traffic lights throughout the area, from the Grenoble Alpes Métropole Mobility Agency. How are they programmed? Are some set to longer cycles than others? Come discover this facility, which is rarely open to the public.
