The status of student with special needs allows you to benefit from accommodations that help you better balance your activities and your studies.

To obtain this status, you must submit an application to the UGA in consultation with your year coordinator at the Chemistry and Biology Department.

The UGA caters to a variety of needs: high-level sports or artistic activities, entrepreneurship, commitments, family responsibilities.

High-level sports activity (SHN)

• educational,
• athletic,
• medical and paramedical,
• social.

In return, high-level student athletes commit to participating in UGA events (presentations, ceremonies, etc.).

High-level artistic activity (AHN)

You must meet the admission criteria for the status or present a major artistic project. to apply for high-level artist statusThe status of high-level artist offers access to educational and artistic support.

You can also validate your musical or artistic practice in Transversal Education by Choice (ETC) by enrolling in the ETC " Musical and Artistic Training," which consists of a personal thesis related to your artistic activity.

Entrepreneurship

Student or recent graduate starting your own business, you can now obtain student entrepreneur status with the associated social rightsWith national student entrepreneur status, you can enjoy many benefits:

• guardians,
• seminars,
• university degree,
• maintenance of student benefits,...

You can also receive assistance from the Student Center for Innovation, Transfer, and Entrepreneurship (PEPITEoZer) to train and/or develop your project.

Commitment

Under Law 2017-86 of January 27, 2017, on equality and citizenship Université Grenoble Alpes and values your commitment by awarding you the status of committed student.

• Students who volunteer for the army or military in the operational reserve.
• Volunteer firefighters.
• Working students (minimum contract of 3 months, minimum 10 hours per week). The contract must cover periods of educational activity (weeks of classes and exams).
• Students performing civic service.
• The active members of an association's board.

Your family record book is essential for making the arrangements that suit you best, in consultation with your year coordinator.
