Internship Coordinator for Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Process Engineering: Sebastian MARC.
Bachelor's Degree Internship 3 GdP: Internship to discover the company, minimum 8 weeks starting at the end of March.
Master's 1 GdP internship: Introductory internship in the specialization, lasting at least 12 weeks, starting at the end of March.
Master 2 GdP internship: End-of-studies internship lasting a minimum of 20 weeks, starting at the end of January.
"Technician" internship at the end of the first year of L3 (Bac+3)
The purpose of the first-year internship is to introduce students to the industrial world in order to better understand how a company operates. Placed in an executive position within a team, students discover the structure of the company, familiarize themselves with processes and resources, learn about hierarchical relationships, and observe the constraints related to hygiene, quality, safety, and the environment, etc.
The internship lasts a minimum of 8 weeks.
The student writes a report which they submit to the company and the university supervisor for the internship. They also give an oral presentation to a panel consisting of the industrial internship supervisor, the university tutor, and an "impartial" teacher. In addition, the company submits an assessment of the intern using a pre-written evaluation form. This assessment takes place at the end of the minimum 8-week period, even if the internship lasts longer.
"Assistant engineer" internship at the end of the second year of Master's 1 (Bac+4)
At the end of the second year, students complete an internship in a company whose activities are related to the specialization chosen during the year (Formulation for the FAC option, Energy for the GET option, Environment for the PCTE option).
The student is integrated into a team within the company. They must therefore work in an industrial environment and understand the operational flows and interactions between the various departments of the host organization. This allows them to experience the engineering profession by putting the scientific and technical knowledge they have acquired into practice.
The topics generally covered are as follows:
workstation study
improvement or optimization of a procedure or process
feasibility study
production monitoring
implementation of quality or environmental procedures
results analysis
participation in an R&D branch of the company
The internship lasts a minimum of 12 weeks. The student writes a report that is sent to the company and to a supervising teacher. In addition, the company provides an assessment of the intern.
End-of-study internship, Master's degree (5 years of higher education)
During this end-of-studies internship, which lasts a minimum of 20 weeks, students are placed in a position where they must take the initiative to solve or contribute to the resolution of an industrial problem (project management, environmental management, etc.) with a technological or technical-economic focus related to their chosen specialization (formulation, environment, energy).
At the end of the internship, a written report will be presented and defended. In addition to the technical content of the internship, the report will include the reasons and motivations for choosing it, its suitability, and a skills assessment. The company will also provide an evaluation of the intern.
