Development of the course program

When you participate in an exchange program, you take classes abroad, but the degree is still awarded by UGA.

You must therefore prepare a course program for each university you have selected that is in line with your plans and the course program for the field in which you will be enrolled.

1 – Rules to be followed when drawing up the program

Your program must total the equivalent of 60 ECTS credits per year, divided equally between the two semesters:

  • EUROPE except UK: 60 ECTS
  • UK: 120 credits
  • USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan: 24 to 30 credits (or 4 to 5 courses per semester)
  • Australia: 42 to 54 units

At least 70% of the content of this program must cover the material taught during the year of enrollment at UGA.

2 – Where can I find the UGA course schedule?

On each page, select the desired course and click on "program" to see the list of course units.

3 - Where can I find the course program at the partner university?

In the search engine of your choice, enter the following keywords:

  • University name + "course catalog"
  • University name + program + syllabus
  • University name + "course offer"
  • Name of university + "exchange student"
  • Or any meaningful combination of keywords

Choose from the course program displayed the course units whose content corresponds to the UGA program.

Please note that you should not select courses from a faculty other than the one to which your discipline belongs.

4 – Fill out the " Course Pre-selection" document

Your course program must be approved by your academic advisor after you have submitted your application.
